These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between City Needs T/A Bite Free (referred to herein as “Bite Free,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the user of our services and products (referred to herein as “you,” “your,” or “user”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Bite Free website (the “Website”), the purchase of products or services from Bite Free, and the use of any products or services provided by Bite Free. By accessing the Website, purchasing products or services, or using any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully.
1. General Information

2. Orders and Purchases
2.1. Ordering: When you place an order with Bite Free, you are making an offer to purchase our products subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason. All orders will be deemed to have been made in the Republic of Botswana and will fall under the applicable laws of Botswana.
2.2. Confirmation: After you place an order, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. This confirmation email does not constitute our acceptance of your order; it is for your reference only.
2.3. Acceptance: Our acceptance of your order occurs when we commence the manufacture of your order, at which point we will send you an email confirming your order has been accepted.
2.4. Cancellation by Bite Free: We reserve the right to cancel your order if any of the following occur:
a) Insufficient stock to supply the goods that have been ordered. b) We do not deliver to your geographical area. c) One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received from our suppliers. d) Goods ordered are no longer available from our suppliers.
2.5. Payment: All payments are due upon completion of the order. If a payment is not received or the payment method is declined, the order will not be placed for the products, and no items will be shipped.
2.6. Money Back Guarantee: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of receiving the product. The refund is subject to the conditions outlined in our Returns and Refund Policy.
3. Product Information and Warranty
3.1. Product Information: We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information presented on our Website. However, please note that product photos, descriptions, and prices are non-contractual. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product purchased is suitable for your specific needs.
3.2. Warranty: We offer a 1-year warranty on our products, which covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
a) The warranty excludes damage resulting from user negligence, mishandling, or the wrong application of the window nets for mosquitoes. b) The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, damage from external sources (e.g., weather), failures caused by circumstances outside of Bite Free’s control, damage from negligent use, screens not assembled correctly, incorrect installation, repairs or alterations not carried out by Bite Free. c) The warranty period commences from the date of purchase.
4. Delivery and Installation
4.1. Delivery: Products are delivered to the address specified by the customer on the purchase order, within the geographical zones we service. Estimated delivery times are provided on the order forms and are estimates only. If no delivery times are stated, our orders are normally dispatched within 2-5 working days from the day of placing the order.
4.2. Installation: Installation dates are provided, and every effort will be made to adhere to them. However, under no circumstances shall Bite Free be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages or any loss of profits, loss of use, or loss of business due to delays in delivery or installation.
5. Complaints and Disputes
5.1. Complaints: If you have any complaints or concerns, please contact us in writing at our address or by email. Our aim is to ensure that complaints are dealt with properly and taken seriously.
5.2. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute or claim, we encourage you to seek an amicable solution with Bite Free before proceeding with any legal action. Any disputes concerning the sale, price, terms and conditions, products, or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Republic of Botswana.
6. Right to Withdrawal / Returns
6.1. Cooling-off Period: In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to a cooling-off period of fourteen (14) business days, starting from the date you receive the goods. During this period, you can cancel the contract and return the goods at your expense, without providing a reason.
6.2. Exclusions: The cooling-off period and right to cancel do not apply to orders for goods made to your specification (e.g., made-to-measure items). These orders are exempt from cancellation.
6.3. Returns: All returns must be authorized by Bite Free. Only complete and unused goods in perfect condition for resale will be accepted for return. If you exercise your right to withdraw, you may request a refund or exchange. If an exchange or return is requested, all shipping expenses shall be your responsibility.
6.4. Warranty Returns: If you need to return a product due to a defect covered by our warranty, the return charge will be at your expense until the reported fault is investigated and confirmed by Bite Free. If the return is accepted, the goods must be returned within 30 days and must not be used until inspected.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
7.1. We have the right to revise and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the policies and terms in force at the time of your order unless a change is required by law or government authority.
